NO Electricity On Friday In Parts of Manzanilla, Freeport, Penal, Oropouche
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Manzanilla, Freeport, Penal and Oropouche on Friday (30th January, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Manzanilla, Freeport, Penal and Oropouche are as follows:
MANZANILLA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- All customers on Warden Road.
FREEPORT (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
- From LP #50 (in the vicinity of corner of the Southern Main Road and Calcutta Road #1) heading East to LP #126 on Calcutta Road #1 (in the vicinity of corner of Calcutta Road #1 and Calcutta Road #2).
- From corner of Calcutta Road #1 and Calcutta Road #3 heading North to corner of Calcutta Road #3 and Sandya Avenue on Calcutta Road #3.
- From corner of Mc Bean Local Road and Verdant Vale Gardens heading South to LP #7 on Mc Bean Local Road.
- From corner of Calcutta Road #1 and Sonny Ladoo Road heading North to comer of Sonny Ladoo Road and Derry Lane, inclusive of Derry Lane, Sancho Trace, Seeram Road, Wyndham Palms, Calcutta Residential Development and all other associated side streets, Freeport.
PENAL (9:00 AM to 11:30 AM)
- LP #3A to LP #64 Patiram Trace and all associated side streets.
OROPOUCHE: (1:00 PM to 3:00 PM)
- LP #1351 Southern Main Road, Oropouche.
