T&TEC Public Advisory: Traffic Interruption Along Wrightson Road

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising motorists using Wrightson Road, Port of Spain, today (Saturday 24th January, 2026), that it is conducting emergency underground work in the vicinity of the Fire Services Headquarters.

T&TEC notes that the work is necessary to repair a fault on an underground high voltage cable and, as a result, there will be an interruption in the flow of traffic along the Westbound lane until 6:00 PM today (Saturday 24th January, 2026).

The Commission says it apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these repair works.

Motorists are urged to proceed with caution and to follow the instructions of Police Officers on-site.

Please be guided accordingly.
