WASA: Emergency Pipeline Repairs At Corner of Rushworth Street And San Fernando Bye-Pass Road

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising motorists and members of the general public of traffic restrictions at the corner of Rushworth Street and San Fernando Bye-Pass Road, San Fernando, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM (Midnight) on Wednesday (7th January, 2026).

This is to facilitate emergency repairs to a leaking 30-inch diameter transmission pipeline.

Motorists are asked to proceed with caution and to obey the instructions of the Traffic Control Officers on duty in the vicinity of the jobsite, or use an alternative route where possible.
