NO Electricity On Friday In Parts of Belmont, El Dorado, Couva, Caratal, Lady Hailes, Tabaquite
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Belmont, El Dorado, Couva, Caratal, Lady Hailes and Tabaquite on Friday (27th February, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Belmont, El Dorado, Couva, Caratal, Lady Hailes and Tabaquite are as follows:
BELMONT (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- Along the Lady Young Road from the walkover to Upper Saint Francois Valley Road, inclusive of Romain Lands, parts of Marie Road (Digicel, Bmobile and Power 102 will not be affected).
- Along Saint Francois Valley Road, Belmont Valley Road, Durant Street, Collins Road, Lenore Lane and all associated side streets.
EL DORADO (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- LP #34 to LP #40 Madoo Hill.
COUVA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #53 heading East up to LP #86 on Camden Road, inclusive of EMBD Exchange Phase I and EMBD Exchange Phase Il.
- From LP #7 heading North up to LP #5 on Camden Base Road and all associated side streets, inclusive of Greaves Avenue, Ramnarine Avenue and Samai Avenue, Camden Road.
CARATAL (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #68 on Forres Park Trace heading East up to LP #57 on Light Bourne Trace and all associated side streets.
LADY HAILES (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
- LP #50 to LP #7 Circle Drive and all associated side streets.
TABAQUITE (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- From Tabaquite Sub Station to LP #311 Tabaquite Main Road, Tabaquite, including Mango Road, Quarry Road, Tabaquite Nariva Road, Sand Hill Trace, Ronsas Drive, Cito Trace, La Roach Trace, Carry Road, Lemong Road, Seecharan Trace, John William Trace, Diaz Road, Manbode Trace, Church Trace, Motta Settlement Trace, Moolai Trace, Mahabir Road, Tabaquite Heights, Emmanuel Junction, Piparo Road, Stone Road, and all associated side streets.
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
