President Declares Eid-ul-Fitr Public Holiday On Friday 20th March, 2026

President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Her Excellency, Christine Carla Kangaloo, O.R.T.T., has officially declared a public holiday on Friday 20th March, 2026 in celebration of the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr, in accordance with the provisions of the Public Holidays and Festivals Act, Chapter 19:05.

The public holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr last year was on Monday 31st March, 2025.
