NO Electricity On Friday In Parts of Laventille, Sangre Grande, Chase Village
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Laventille, Sangre Grande and Chase Village on Friday (27th March, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Laventille, Sangre Grande and Chase Village are as follows:
LAVENTILLE (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- Along the Eastern Main Road from William Street to Unipet Gas Station, inclusive of the following: Value Hardware, Innovative Power Systems, Seecharan Auto Spares Limited, Stanley's Woodfinishes Limited, DeBrett Building, S.D. Simpson Memorial Funeral Chapel, Pigalle's Limited, Electrical Supplies & Services, Maranatha Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Lifestyle Motors, St. Mathias Anglican Church, Pashley Street (Southern side of the Eastern Main Road), Ganges Street, Xcalabar Auto Bodyshop 2000 Limited, Hosein Street and all associated side streets.
SANGRE GRANDE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #55 on Rousseau Street, inclusive of Sangre Grande Hindu School.
CHASE VILLAGE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From corner of Derrick Road and Rodney Road heading East up to LP #66 on Derrick Road, inclusive of all associated side streets.
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
