NO Electricity On Wednesday In Parts of Valencia, Arima, North Oropouche/Matura, Mt. Lambert, Charlieville
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Valencia, Arima, North Oropouche/Matura, Mt. Lambert and Charlieville on Wednesday (1st April, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Valencia, Arima, North Oropouche/Matura, Mt. Lambert and Charlieville are as follows:
VALENCIA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #3 on the Eastern side of Armadillo Drive, New Valencia.
ARIMA (9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM)
- Along O'Connor Drive off O'Meara Road, inclusive of Xtra Plaza, Starbucks, Arima Borough Corporation and the Water Treatment Plant.
ARIMA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #54 on O'Connor Drive off O'Meara Road and all associated side streets.
NORTH OROPOUCHE/MATURA (10:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
- Along Valencia Main Road, North Oropouche from North Oropouche Substation heading East onto Toco Main Road, Matura and then heading North up to Carb Glass Works Factory, Matura, inclusive of all associated side streets.
MT. LAMBERT (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From Second Street South onto Second Avenue then West until Sixth Street and all associated side streets.
- From corner of Second Avenue West until end of Second Avenue, inclusive of Mt. Lambert Circular, Ninth Street, Tenth Street, Eleventh Street and all associated side streets.
CHARLIEVILLE (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
- From LP #109 Caroni Savannah Road heading North up to LP #147 Cemetery Street (in the vicinity of Holiday Foods), including Sumana Trace and all associated streets.
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
