T&TEC: NO Electricity On Thursday In Parts of San Juan, Caparo, Oropouche

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of San Juan, Caparo and Oropouche on Thursday (30th April, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in San Juan, Caparo and Oropouche are as follows: 

SAN JUAN (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • La Fortune Road.
  • In the vicinity of LP #9 to LP #12 Jogie Road and all associated side streets.

CAPARO (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #74 on Edinburgh Road heading South onto Thompson Road, then onto the Caparo Brasso Valley Road from LP #138 up to LP #27, inclusive of Gall Trace, Benjamin Street, Carlsen Field (opposite Benjamin Street), Edinburgh Road Extension, Success Road, Bartlette Road, Chin Johnson Road, Todds Station Road up to pole #189, Santa Phillipa Road, Mamoral Main Road, Telemarque Road, John Williams Trace up to pole #72 and all associated side streets.

OROPOUCHE (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)

  • LP #112 to LP #45 Oropouche River Road North, including Branch Trace, Joseph Clement Road, Mathbar Trace, Mathbar Trace Extension, Jaipaulsingh Road and all associated side streets.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
