Today’s Weather: Fair, Partly Cloudy, 40% Chance For Heavy Showers; 32°C Max

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), today (Thursday 23rd April, 2026) will be initially fair, becoming partly cloudy by mid-morning and accompanied by light to moderate showers over a few areas. There is also the medium (40%) chance of the heavier shower or thunderstorm, favouring, but not limited to, Southern and Western areas of Trinidad. A mostly settled evening and night is expected, despite the lingering shower.

Gusty winds and street flooding are likely in the vicinity of heavy downpours.

The forecast maximum temperature today will be 32°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 30°C at Crown Point in Tobago. 

Seas are slight to moderate with waves up to 1.5m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
