Maxi-Taxi Driver Ambushed, Shot Dead Outside Home In Brazil — Police Investigating

A man is dead following a brutal shooting incident outside his home in Brazil this morning (Monday 29th June, 2026). The deceased has been identified as Ronald Ramgooliee of Savannah Drive, Brazil. He was the driver of a 24-seater red-band maxi-taxi (HCS 8485), known as “General.”

According to reports, Ramgooliee was ambushed and shot multiple times about the body while near his vehicle, around 6:30 AM.

Police and Emergency Health Services were notified and responded to the location, where Ramgooliee was found lying on the ground outside the maxi-taxi. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not yet established a motive for this murder.

Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.
