Today: Partly Cloudy, 30% Chance For Heavy Showers — Mild/Moderate Saharan Dust; 31°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), today (Tuesday 30th June, 2026) will be partly cloudy with a few showers and the low (30%) chance of a heavy shower or thunderstorm, favouring South Trinidad. Conditions are expected to transition to fair, hazy and breezy by early afternoon, despite the lingering shower. Tonight will mostly fair but hazy, except for the isolated shower.
The Met Office notes that a mild/moderate concentration of Saharan dust is present in the atmosphere. Persons who are sensitive to these air quality changes should take the necessary precautions.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 31°C at both Piarco in Trinidad and Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are moderate with waves 1.5m to 2m in open waters and up to 1m in sheltered areas.
