Today: Partly Cloudy, 60% Chance For Heavy Showers — Mild Saharan Dust; 31°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), today (Monday 29th June, 2026) will be partly cloudy, becoming cloudy at times and breezy, with scattered light or moderate showers. There is a medium (60%) chance of these showers becoming heavy and/or thundery at times. Showery spells will linger overnight, with increased frequency after Midnight.
Gusty winds and street flooding can occur in the event of heavy showers or thunderstorms.
The Met Office notes that a mild concentration of Saharan dust is present in the atmosphere. Sensitive persons are advised to take the necessary precautions.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 31°C at both Piarco in Trinidad and Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are moderate with waves 1.5m to 2m in open waters and below 1m and occasionally choppy in sheltered areas.
