Today’s Weather: Cloudy, 60% Chance For Thunderstorm Activity; 29°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), weather associated with the axis of Tropical Wave #20 today (Saturday 27th June, 2026), and its trailing convergence on Sunday (28th June, 2026), is expected to bring partly to mostly cloudy periods, with a medium chance of isolated heavy showers or thunderstorms.
We can expect variable cloud cover with a few periods of showers today (Saturday 27th June, 2026). There is a medium (60%) chance of isolated thunderstorm activity. Conditions are expected to settle during the evening, apart from lingering isolated showers.
Street flooding and gusty winds may accompany heavy downpours.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 29°C at both Piarco in Trinidad and Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are moderate with waves near 1.5m in open waters and below 1m and choppy near showers in sheltered areas.
