22-Year-Old Valencia Man Charged With Murder of Elderly Pensioner
A man has appeared before a Master of the High Court, charged with the murder of 81-year-old pensioner, James Le Cadre, which occurred on 27th June, 2026.
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), 22-year-old Kendelle Michael Seales, aka ‘Shango,’ of Valencia, was charged with the offence when he appeared before Master Raydon Dalrymple-Watts, in the High Court North ‘B,’ on Tuesday (21st July, 2026).
The matter was adjourned to 10th October, 2026.
Le Cadre, of Plantation Road, Valencia, was found burnt to death at his home on 27th June, 2026.
A male suspect was arrested in connection with the incident on 14th July, 2026, in the Valencia district, by Officers of the Valencia Police Post.
Investigations were supervised by ASP (Ag.) Victor, Sgt. Radhaykissoon, and Legal Officer PC Subiah, all of Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI) Region II.
Seales was charged with the offence on Monday (20th July, 2026) by WPC La Fortune-Salina, also of HBI Region II, following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Roger Gaspard SC, on that same date.
