Today: Hot, Sunny, Hazy, 60% Chance For Heavy Showers — Mild Saharan Dust; 33°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect generally hot, sunny and hazy conditions today (Monday 27th July, 2026). A few partly cloudy or cloudy spells and showers are likely over a few areas during the afternoon, evening and night. There is also a medium (60%) chance of isolated heavy showers or thunderstorm activity, mainly near Western areas of Trinidad.
Street flooding or isolated flash flooding is possible near heavy downpours.
The Met Office notes that relatively mild concentrations of Saharan dust are currently present. Sensitive persons are advised to take the necessary precautions.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 33°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 31°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are slight to moderate with waves 1.2m to 1.5m in open waters and below 0.5m and choppy near showers in sheltered areas.
