Today: Partly Cloudy, Hazy, Breezy, 40% Chance For Heavy Showers — Mild/Moderate Saharan Dust; 31°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect partly cloudy, hazy and breezy conditions today (Saturday 25th July, 2026), with a few light or moderate showers occurring, mainly during the morning to early afternoon period. There is also a medium (40%) chance of isolated heavy showers or thunderstorms. Tonight will be fair.
Gusty winds and street flooding may occur near heavy showers or thunderstorms.
The Met Office notes that there is a mild/moderate concentration of Saharan dust in the atmosphere. Persons who are sensitive to this change in air quality are advised to take the necessary precautions.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 31°C at both Piarco in Trinidad and Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are slight to moderate with waves 1m to 2m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
