Today: Sunny, Hazy, 30% Chance For Heavy Showers — Mild Saharan Dust; 32°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect sunny and slightly hazy conditions today (Wednesday 29th July, 2026), despite a few isolated showers at times. There is a low (30%) chance of the isolated heavy shower along Western and hilly areas of Trinidad. A few partly cloudy spells are expected overnight, with isolated showers interrupting fair conditions.
The Met Office notes that a mild concentration of Saharan dust is present in the atmosphere. Sensitive persons should take the necessary precautions.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 32°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 31°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are moderate with waves 1.5m to 2m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
