Today: Sunny, Hazy, 30% Chance For Thunderstorm Activity — Mild Saharan Dust; 32°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect generally sunny and hazy conditions today (Wednesday 22nd July, 2026). A few partly cloudy spells and showers are likely over a few areas during the afternoon, evening and early night. There is also a low (30%) chance of isolated thunderstorm activity, mainly over Southern areas.
The Met Office notes that relatively mild concentrations of Saharan dust are currently present. Sensitive persons are advised to take the necessary precautions.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 32°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 31°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are moderate with waves 1.3m to 1.5m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
