TRIPLE Murder At Unipet Gas Station, Laventille — 3 Men Shot Dead; Police At The Scene

UPDATE 4: The hail of bullets caused widespread damage throughout the gas station. Several parked vehicles were riddled with bullets, while a nearby building sustained gunshot damage after rounds penetrated the structure.

Police later recovered two (2) vehicles believed to have been used in the operation. A white Nissan Tiida was found abandoned in Fondes Amandes, St. Ann’s, while a silver Nissan B15 was found abandoned in Chinapoo, Morvant. 

Investigators have classified the incident as a suspected gang-related homicide and believe Williams and Campbell were deliberately targeted, while Jack lost his life in the line of fire.

UPDATE 3: New reports state that Williams arrived at the gas station in a silver Mitsubishi Lancer and parked at a pump, while Campbell remained in the front passenger seat. A white Nissan Tiida then pulled in and three (3) masked men armed with high-powered rifles alighted from the vehicle before opening fire. Williams was fatally struck multiple times in the head after exiting the Lancer. His body was found on the ground beside the driver’s side of the vehicle, near one of the pumps. One of the gunmen then opened the driver’s door of the Lancer and fired several more rounds at Campbell, ensuring he was dead. 

Moments prior to the shooting, Jack had arrived at the gas station in his white Nissan AD wagon and was preparing to purchase fuel. Upon hearing the loud gunshots, he immediately abandoned his vehicle and attempted to run to safety. However, he was struck by a single stray bullet to the back of his head, which exited through his face, killing him instantly.

UPDATE 2: The three (3) deceased victims have been identified as 22-year-old Khalil Malik Emmanuel Williams, 29-year-old Mikal “Beebo” Campbell and 50-year-old air-conditioning technician, Selvon Jack. Police believe Jack was an innocent bystander who became the tragic third victim of what investigators suspect was a targeted gang execution aimed at Williams and Campbell.

Jack had stopped to refuel his vehicle at the gas station when he was fatally shot while running for his life, after the heavily-armed gunmen opened fire.

UPDATE: One of the victims of today’s triple murder has been identified as 22-year-old Khalil Malik Emmanuel Williams, of Chinapoo, Morvant. Relatives described Williams as a young and ambitious man who had been looking forward to a new chapter in his life. They said he graduated from Morvant/Laventille Secondary School with five (5) CSEC passes and had been working while pursuing his goals. Williams had also signed up to join the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment on Thursday (16th July, 2026), just two (2) days before he was killed.

His relatives insisted he was not involved in gang activity and said he was focused on building a better future. They described him as someone who loved motorcycles and was determined to make a positive contribution to society.

Three (3) men are dead following a brutal shooting incident at a Unipet Gas Station in Laventille a short while ago this morning (Sunday 18th July, 2026). The deceased have not yet been identified.

According to initial reports, gunmen using high-powered weapons opened fire on a parked silver Mitsubishi car (PCU 7904) at the Unipet Gas Station, located at the corner of Morvant Old Road and the Eastern Main Road, Laventille, while gas was being filled in the vehicle, around 10:00 AM. Bullets riddled the front windscreen and the driver’s window. There is also a visible bullet hole in the back windscreen. Two (2) men were killed outside the vehicle while the third was killed inside.


Unconfirmed reports state that a fourth person was also wounded during the attack.

Police and Emergency Health Services were notified and are currently at the scene.

Crime scene investigators are said to have recovered thirty-five (35) spent 5.56 calibre rifle shells and two (2) projectiles.


Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the triple murder.

A woman has been charged with the murder of   Chaguanas businessman Gregory Reece , who was stabbed to death at her apartment in Woodford Gardens on Sunday 28th June, 2026. TWO (2) Suspects Arrested Following Armed Robbery At Chaguanas Mini-Mart

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), a man and a woman were arrested and a firearm recovered, following a co-ordinated Police response to an armed robbery at a mini-mart in Chaguanas this afternoon (Friday 17th July, 2026). At approximately 12:55 PM, Officers of the Central Division Task Force (Area North) responded to a report of a robbery with aggravation at a mini-mart, located along La Clave Street, Edinburgh 500, Chaguanas. 31-Year-Old Missing Woman Found Alive In Mayaro — Taken For Medical Treatment

UPDATE (06/07/26): Shahnaaz Ali has told Police that she was kidnapped, drugged and tortured before being left abandoned near a beach in Mayaro. Police have since launched an investigation into the alleged kidnapping as enquiries continue. Shahnaaz Ali, the 31-year-old woman who was found in Mayaro the day after she failed to return home from work in Port-of-Spain , has told Police that she was kidnapped, drugged and tortured before being left abandoned near a beach in Mayaro. Venezuelan Woman Stabbed To Death By Boyfriend During Confrontation At Chaguanas Home

UPDATE (12/07/26): Police have launched a manhunt for the 23-year-old boyfriend of Kelimar Del Jesus Duran Morillo, following her fatal stabbing early Saturday morning. The incident unfolded just hours after Morillo and her on-and-off boyfriend of three (3) years attended his birthday celebration at his parents’ home in Endeavour, Chaguanas. 42-Year-Old Man Killed When Panel Van Crashes Into Truck Along Caparo Valley Brasso Road

A man is dead following a road traffic accident along the Caparo Valley Brasso Road this morning (Saturday 4th July, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Jason Ramnanan of Caparo. According to reports, Ramnanan was driving a white panel van when it collided with a green and yellow waste disposal truck (TCJ 1195) near the Santa Phillipa Bridge along the Caparo Valley Brasso Road, around 9:00 AM.
