In the event of a heavy shower or thunderstorm, gusty winds and street flooding are possible.

Seas are moderate with waves 1.5m to 2m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
Recommendations for outdoor activities today:
Persons heading outdoors today should stay hydrated, wear lightweight, breathable clothing, and use sunscreen, as temperatures are expected to reach 33°C in Trinidad and 32°C in Tobago, with conditions potentially feeling even hotter. Although predominantly sunny conditions are expected, it is advisable to carry an umbrella or light rain gear, particularly for those spending the afternoon in Western or hilly areas of Trinidad, where a heavier shower or thunderstorm is possible. Motorists and pedestrians should exercise caution during any heavy downpour, as gusty winds and street flooding may occur. Those heading out to sea should also take care, as seas are expected to be moderate, with waves of 1.5m to 2m in open waters; marine interests should monitor conditions and exercise additional caution.
