According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), in the first incident, around 3:30 AM on Wednesday, Officers received a report of a vehicle left abandoned with its engine idling in the St. James area.
Western Division Officers responded and observed a burgundy-coloured Nissan vehicle left idling and unoccupied in the middle of the road on Bengal Street. Further information revealed that the vehicle may have been stolen from the Chaguanas area.
The vehicle was wrecked and taken to be photographed and processed.
Later, between 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM on Wednesday, Officers of the Four Roads Criminal Investigations Department (CID) conducted an anti-crime exercise in the district, relative to a report of larceny at a nearby housing development.
