NO Electricity On Thursday In Parts of St. Clair, Las Lomas, Chin Chin Road, Maracas St. Joseph, Ghandi Village

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of St. Clair, Las Lomas, Chin Chin Road, Maracas St. Joseph and Ghandi Village on Thursday (3rd September, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in St. Clair, Las Lomas, Chin Chin Road, Maracas St. Joseph and Ghandi Village are as follows: 

ST. CLAIR (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • Hayes Street, Elizabeth and Alexandra Streets between Serpentine Road and St. Clair Avenue, including Flood Street and Jackson Street.

LAS LOMAS (11:00 AM to 2:00 PM)

  • Diamond Avenue from LP #24 to LP #29 and associated side streets, La Esmeralda Gardens, Las Lomas #3.

CHIN CHIN ROAD (11:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • Las Lomas #1 from LP #37 to LP #48, including all side streets.

MARACAS ST. JOSEPH (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #25 on Abercromby Street heading North, including Cashew Park, Riverside Road, Maracas Royal Road, La Mango Road, Balata Trace, La Baja Road, Poolside Road, Wharf Trace, Milton Street, Riverview Gardens, La Chaumiere, Center Trace, Eustace Bernard Boulevard, Avondale Gardens, WASA Mountain View Wastewater Treatment Plant, Mountain View Circular, Leotaud Road, Toncabean Gardens, Maracas SDA Primary School, University of the Southern Caribbean, Campus Boulevard, Acono Road, Maracas Presbyterian Primary School, Guaratta Hill, Maracas R.C. Primary School, La Rue Pomme Road, Maracas Health Facility, Santa Barbara Estate, Maracas Community Centre, Waterfall Road, Alta Gardens, Gracia Gardens, Waterfall Road Extension, Hobal Trace, Santa Rita Trace, San Pedro, Las Cuevas Main Road and all associated side streets.

GHANDI VILLAGE (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • From LP #5 Suchit Trace, Penal to LP #46 Railway Road West, Gandhi Village and all associated side streets, including Tulsa Trace, Gayah Trace, Seepersad Trace, Tulsa Branch Trace, Gopie Trace, Raju Trace, Spur Trace, Debe Trace and Dwarika Avenue.
