NO Electricity On Thursday In Parts of Cascade, Carenage, Caroni, Matelot, Barrackpore, Point Fortin, Cap-de-Ville
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Cascade, Carenage, Caroni, Matelot, Barrackpore, Point Fortin and Cap-de-Ville on Thursday (17th September, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas are as follows:
CASCADE (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- Coblentz Avenue, St. Ann’s between LP #5 to LP #18.
CARENAGE (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- Along Haig Street, inclusive of Raymond Street, Abbe Poujade Street, Seaview Street, Constantine Street, Bendictine Street, Vineyard Street, Jones Street, Neckles Drive, Upper Haig Street, Upper Abbe Poujade Street and all associated side streets.
CARONI (10:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
- Caroni South Bank Road from LP #63 to LP #153, including the area surrounding the Community Centre and in the vicinity of the San Rafael Substation.
MATELOT (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- Along Paria Main Road from LP #73 to Matelot, inclusive of WASA San Souci, WASA Grand Riviere, Matelot Community College, Matelot R.C. Primary School, San Souci Primary school, Grand Riviere Primary School, Monte Video Primary School and Grand Riviere Health Centre.
BARRACKPORE (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #1 to LP #7 Old Seebalack Trace and all associated side streets.
POINT FORTIN (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- LP #A1 to LP #11 Kalloo Road, including Herman Street, Harewood Street, Kenneth Street, Cape Street, Baptiste Road, Caanan Road, George Road, Richardson Street, Wilson Street, Volunteer Road, Morrison Street, Taylor Street, Ridgeway Drive, Clifton Hill Road, Acacia Avenue, Fem Drive, Circular Drive, Cedar Avenue, Daffodil Drive, Ambrose Drive, Tulip Drive and all associated side streets.
CAP-DE-VILLE (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- LP #84 to LP #223 Southern Main Road, Coromendal, including Henderson Trace, Granville Road and all associated side streets.
- Off LP #2280 Southern Main Road, Cedros, Bois Bourg, McDonald Road, Beach Road and all associated side streets.
