T&TEC: NO Electricity On Tuesday In Parts of Chaguaramas, St. Clair, Blanchisseuse, Tortuga
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Chaguaramas, St. Clair, Blanchisseuse and Tortuga on Tuesday (15th September, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Chaguaramas, St. Clair, Blanchisseuse and Tortuga are as follows:
CHAGUARAMAS (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- Along Tucker Valley Road, inclusive of U-Pick, Bellerand Road, Bachelor Hall, Chaguaramas Development Authority Police Headquarters, Guave Road, Trinidad Rifle Association, Edith Falls, Radio Tower Road and all associated side streets.
ST. CLAIR (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
- Along Serpentine Road between LP #52 to LP #60, including Wainwright Street, Scott Street and Maxwell-Phillip Street.
BLANCHISSEUSE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #52 heading North on Paria Main Road, including National Quarries, ASA Wright Nature Centre, Morne Bleu Radio Station, Morne La Croix, Brasso Seco, Brasso Seco R.C. Primary School, Brasso Seco Health Centre, Madamas Trace, De Norbreiga Trace and Gomez Trace.
TORTUGA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #176 on corner of Cedar Hill Road and Forres Park Trace heading South up to LP #74 on Light Bourne Road and all associated streets, inclusive of Allarack Trace, Hermitage Road and up to LP #391 Caratal Road.
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
