Temporary Adjustments To Payment Services At ALL Licensing Offices

The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation is advising that as it approaches the close of the financial year, a number of temporary adjustments have been implemented to payment services at Licensing Offices. The Ministry said these measures are “necessary to facilitate reconciliation and ensure all revenue is properly accounted for at the close of the financial year.”

The arrangements will be in effect from Tuesday 22nd to Wednesday 30th September, 2026, and members of the public are kindly asked to take note of the following interim arrangements:

  • Cheques will not be accepted at any Licensing Office between Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 30th September, 2026.
  • Cash payments will not be accepted at any Licensing Office on Wednesday 30th September, 2026.
  • LINX payments will be accepted at all Licensing Sites on Wednesday 30th September, 2026.
  • Online transactions will remain fully available throughout this period.

Regular operations, including the acceptance of Cash, Linx, and Cheque transactions, will resume on Thursday 1st October, 2026.

The Ministry said it thanks the public for their co-operation and understanding during this period.

Please be guided accordingly.
