According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect sunny and at times, breezy conditions today (Thursday 17th September, 2026), interrupted by partly cloudy or cloudy periods with isolated showers over a few areas. There is a low to medium (30% to 40%) chance of the isolated heavy shower or thunderstorm. Showery spells are likely to persist overnight, becoming settled after Midnight.
Gusty winds and street flooding can occur in the event of heavy downpours.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 32°C at both Piarco in Trinidad and Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are moderate with waves 1.5m to 2m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
