T&TEC: NO Electricity Today In Parts of Central Trinidad

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Central Trinidad today (Thursday 22nd October, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works — 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

According to T&TEC, the affected areas are as follows:

  • From pole #1 on Telemaque Road up to pole #17 along Brasso Tamana Road (heading West from Telemaque Road) and pole #236 along Brasso Tamana Road (heading East from Telemaque Road).

In addition to the above areas, several other parts of Trinidad may also experience a loss of electricity today (Thursday 22nd October, 2026).

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
