NO Electricity On Tuesday In Parts of Claxton Bay, Bonne Aventure, Cap-de-Ville

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Claxton Bay, Bonne Aventure and Cap-de-Ville on Tuesday (24th February, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Claxton Bay, Bonne Aventure and Cap-de-Ville are as follows: 

CLAXTON BAY (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • From LP #A64 (in the vicinity of Savonetta Substation) along North Sea Drive onto the Southern Main Road up to LP #A896 then heading South on the Old Southern Main Road up to LP #964 (Claxton Bay Junction).
  • From Claxton Bay Junction heading East along the Cedar Hill Road up to LP #57 and all associated side streets, inclusive of School Trace, Abdool Street, Rosehill Street, Lodge Street, Abraham Street, Pranz Gardens and Savonetta Housing Development, Old Southern Main Road.

BONNE AVENTURE (8:30 AM to 2:30 PM)

  • LP #72 Bonne Aventure Road to LP #9 Ragoobar Street, including Glen Andrews Circular, Ragoobar Lands, Mary Street, Darneaud Street and all associated side streets.

CAP-DE-VILLE (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • From LP #1821A South Central Road, including Butler Street, Salazar Trace, Salazar Trace Extension, L Anthony Street, St. James Street, Ruffin Street, High Street, Pilgrim Street, Felicity Street, Recreation Ground Road, South Central Road, Southern Main Road - Chatham, Cap-de-Ville Road, Buenos Ayres, SS Erin Road, Erin Road, Puerto Grande, Jackson Trace, Cameron Trace, Food Crop #1, Food Crop #2, North Road, Belle View Avenue, Chatham Road North, Chatham Road South, Road Reserve D, Road Reserve N, Road Reserve G, Road Reserve J, Road Reserve L, Road Reserve A, Road Reserve C, Road Reserve K, Road Reserve H, West Road, West Access Road, East Access Road, Kowlessar Trace, Jengal Trace, Pt. Coco Road, Syfoo Trace, Southern Main Road - Coromandel Village, Beach Road, St. Anns, Tractor Trace, RE Road, Granville Road, Sankarali Street, Hilltop Road, Coromandel Road, Augustusville Road, Augustusville, Mitchell Crescent, Belle View, Boodram Trace, Unity Drive, Panchori Street, Pasea Trace, Henderson Trace, Limefield, Beach Road, Bamboo Village, Campbell Street, Bois Bourg, Henry Street, Biswah Street, St. Marie Street, Teelucksingh Avenue, Southern Main Road - Cedros, Grieg Street, Lenvieusse Road, Green Hill Estate, Fullerton Beach Road, Kathyann Gardens, Bridgemohansingh Street, School Street, Bonasse Village, Perseverance Road, Road B, Road C, St. Quintin Estate, Los Gallos Village, Fullerton Road West, Columbus Road, Southern Main Road - Icacos, Columbia Road, Coconut Grove, Constance Estate, St. Andrews Coconut Estate, Lalla Road, Fred Avenue, Lovers Lane, Boute Grande Chemin Road, and all associated side streets.

In addition to the above areas, several other parts of Trinidad may also experience a loss of electricity on Tuesday (24th February, 2026). 

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
