TTPS Disrupts ‘Tall Boots Crew’ Linked To 24 Home Invasions In Central Division

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is providing the following update into investigations surrounding a group of individuals, informally referred to as the “Tall Boots Crew,” believed to be responsible for a series of home invasion incidents, across the Cunupia, Las Lomas, Chaguanas, Freeport, and Longdenville districts, over the past several weeks.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police, Richard Smith, on Saturday (2nd May, 2026), Officers executed a co-ordinated multi-agency operation, which resulted in the decisive disruption of the group’s activities.

The operation involved personnel from the Home Invasion Team (HIT), Central Division Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Central Division Task Force, Guard and Emergency Branch, Canine Unit, the Air Support Unit and the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).

As a result of the operation:

The deceased individuals have been identified as:

  1. Mikhail Guiseppe of Waterhole, Cocorite (age pending confirmation);
  2. Davion Guiseppe, 30, of Lee Trace, North Cunupia;
  3. Kevin John (further details pending confirmation); and
  4. One (1) additional male, whose identity is yet to be established.

Preliminary investigations indicate that this group is linked to approximately twenty-four (24) reported home invasion incidents within the Central Division and surrounding areas.

The TTPS said it “wishes to assure the public that investigations are ongoing and remain at a sensitive stage. As such, further details will be provided when it is operationally appropriate to do so. The Service remains committed to identifying, targeting, and dismantling criminal groups that threaten the safety and security of our communities.”
