NO Electricity On Thursday In Parts of St. James, Arima, Carlsen Field, Princes Town, Cap-de-Ville


The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of St. James, Arima, Carlsen Field, Princes Town and Cap-de-Ville on Thursday (30th July, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in St. James, Arima, Carlsen Field, Princes Town and Cap-de-Ville are as follows: 

ST. JAMES (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
  • Along the Western Main Road between One Woodbrook Place and Mi Casa Furniture Store, inclusive of Samaan Drive, Ganges Street, Lucknow Street, Panka Street (from Lucknow Street to the Woodbrook Cemetery), Gaston Johnston Street, Francis Lau Street, Woodbrook Cemetery, Henry Pierre Street and all associated side streets.
ARIMA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
  • All customers on Readymix Road, including East Lakes Development and all associated side streets, Tumpuna Road South.
CARLSEN FIELD (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
  • From LP #50 (in the vicinity of Longdenville Substation) heading South onto Carlsen Field Road up to LP #91 and all associated side streets.
PRINCES TOWN (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
  • LP #332 to LP #275 M2 Ring Road, including William Avenue, Ramrattan Drive, Felisha Avenue, Road East, Behrue Drive, Magnolia Drive, Road A, Lion Street, Cowan Drive, Alex Boulevard, Road N, Road P, Road O and all associated side streets.
CAP-DE-VILLE (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
  • From LP #2020 Chatham Road South, Cap-de-Ville, including Chatham Road South, Road Reserve D, Road Reserve N, Kowlessar Trace, West Road, Road Reserve G, West Access Road, Road Reserve H, Road Reserve J, Road Reserve L, East Access Road, Road Reserve A, Road Reserve C, Road Reserve K, Jengal Trace and all associated side streets.
