T&TEC: NO Electricity Today In Parts of Carenage, Maraval, Chase Village, Cap-de-Ville

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Carenage, Maraval, Chase Village and Cap-de-Ville today (Tuesday 28th July, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Carenage, Maraval, Chase Village and Cap-de-Ville are as follows: 

CARENAGE (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • Along the Western Main Road from Smith Hill to Sea View Gardens, inclusive of Sea View Gardens, L'Anse Mitan Road, Thompson Circle, Smith Hill and all associated side streets.

MARAVAL (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • Paramin Hill, Upper La Finette Road, Jan Road, Saut D'eau Road, Fond Poix Doux Road, Morne Rene Road, Cocoa Trace, Genesis Kindergarten Preschool, Paramin Primary School, N.J. Educational Academy, WASA Tank Farm, La Finette and all associated side streets.

CHASE VILLAGE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From corner of the Southern Main Road and Mc Leod Trace heading East on Mc Leod Trace up to LP #67/B (in the vicinity of Carapichaima Senior Comprehensive School) and all associated side streets, inclusive of Wohler Boulevard, Savannah Avenue, Innovation Drive, Mc Leod Street Extension, Mc Leod Street Extension #1 and Sewnarine Drive.

CAP-DE-VILLE (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • From LP #65 Syfoo Trace, Granville, including Syfoo Trace, Beach Road, St. Ann’s, Tractor Trace, Sankarali Street, R.E. Road, Granville Road, Hilltop Road, Coromandel Road, Panchori Street, Pasea Trace, Boodram Trace, Unity Drive. Augustusville Road, Augustusville, Belle View, Mitchell Crescent and all associated side streets.
