NO Electricity On Tuesday In Parts of Chaguaramas, Longdenville, Cunupia, Arima, Matelot
UPDATE: T&TEC has cancelled its planned maintenance work for Matelot.
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Chaguaramas, Longdenville, Cunupia, Arima and Matelot on Tuesday (1st September, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Chaguaramas, Longdenville, Cunupia, Arima and Matelot are as follows:
CHAGUARAMAS (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- Along Mt. St. Catherine Road, inclusive of the Trinidad and Tobago Civil Aviation Authority Radar Station and MH Tactical Training Resort.
LONGDENVILLE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #17 along Fernando Lane, heading North onto Esmeralda Road, inclusive of Henry Terrace, Charles Street (from LP #50 heading East to LP #54), Johnathan Trace (from LP #46 heading East to LP #A10), and all associated side streets, Longdenville.
CUNUPIA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- HDC Oasis Phase 5, Egypt Trace, Cunupia.
ARIMA (11:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
- Grapefruit Crescent between LP #50 and LP #52, including the private road at LP #52.
MATELOT (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- All customers from LP #6A on Paria Main Road to LP #57/4 Samuel Street, including California Mission Road, Mission Road, Le Roc Road, La'Anse Noire Road, San Souci Road, George Street, San Souci Health Centre, Basin Bay Road, Cemetery Street, Andrew Street, Matelot Community School, Matelot Community R.C. Primary School, Monte Video Government Primary School, San Souci R.C. Primary School, Matelot Preschool, Matelot Early Childcare Centre, Toco R.C. Primary School, Matelot Community Centre, Matelot Health Centre and all associated side streets, Matelot.
