Today’s Weather: Hazy, Windy, Few Afternoon Showers — Moderate Saharan Dust; 31°C Max

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), today (Wednesday 12th February, 2025) will be hazy and windy at times with a few afternoon showers. The odd shower may become moderate to heavy and be accompanied by gusty winds. Tonight will be cool and breezy with the odd overnight shower.

High Winds Alert (Yellow Level) is in effect until Monday 17th February, 2025.

The Met Office notes that there is a moderate concentration of Saharan Dust in the atmosphere. Sensitive persons are advised to exercise caution.

The forecast maximum temperature today will be 31°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 30°C at Crown Point in Tobago.

Seas are rough with waves 2.5m to 3m in open waters and 1m to 1.5m in sheltered areas.
