Today’s Weather: Hazy, Windy, Few Afternoon Showers — Moderate Saharan Dust; 31°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), today (Wednesday 12th February, 2025) will be hazy and windy at times with a few afternoon showers. The odd shower may become moderate to heavy and be accompanied by gusty winds. Tonight will be cool and breezy with the odd overnight shower.
A High Winds Alert (Yellow Level) is in effect until Monday 17th February, 2025.The Met Office notes that there is a moderate concentration of Saharan Dust in the atmosphere. Sensitive persons are advised to exercise caution.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 31°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 30°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are rough with waves 2.5m to 3m in open waters and 1m to 1.5m in sheltered areas.
