NO Electricity On Tuesday In Parts of Maracas, Blanchisseuse, Bamboo #2, San Fernando

UPDATE: T&TEC has cancelled its planned maintenance work for Blanchisseuse.


The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Maracas, Blanchisseuse, Bamboo #2 and San Fernando on Tuesday (6th October, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Maracas, Blanchisseuse, Bamboo #2 and San Fernando are as follows: 

MARACAS (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • North Coast Road between LP #T42 to LP #T86/1, including Fishing Bay Road, Old Bay Road, Maracas Beach Facility, Grand Fond Road, Tyrico Beach, Damien Bay and all associated side streets.

BLANCHISSEUSE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #52 heading North on Paria Main Road, including National Quarries, ASA Wright Nature Centre, Morne Bleu Radio Station, Morne La Croix, Brasso Seco, Brasso Seco RC Primary School, Brasso Seco Health Centre, Madamas Trace, De Norbreiga Trace and Gomez Trace.

BAMBOO #2 (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From Rattan Trace between LP #1 and LP #3, and on Jaffar Street between LP #53 and LP #55.

SAN FERNANDO (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #50 to LP #67 Alexander Street, LP #1 to LP #5 Wharton Street and all associated side streets.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
