Today’s Weather: Cloudy, 60% Chance For Heavy Showers; 31°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), cloudy but settled periods today (Sunday 4th October, 2026) will be interrupted by occasional showers/periods of rain over varying areas. There is a medium (60%) chance of heavy showers/thunderstorms over a few areas. Lingering cloudiness with a few showers tonight will transition to partly cloudy conditions. There is a low to medium (30% to 40%) chance of isolated thunderstorm activity.
In the event of heavy showers/thunderstorms, gusty winds up to 50 Km/h are possible and street/flash flooding is likely in areas so prone.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 31°C at both Piarco in Trinidad and Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are moderate with waves 1.5m to 2m in open waters and below 1m and choppy during showers in sheltered areas.
