According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), mostly hot, sunny and hazy conditions today (Sunday 26th April, 2026) are likely to be interrupted by partly cloudy periods, with isolated light to moderate showers. There is a low (20%) chance of isolated heavy showers, favouring Southern areas of Trinidad. Tonight will be mostly fair and cool, despite isolated showers. In the event of heavy showers, gusty winds are likely and street/flash flooding is possible in areas so prone. A significant concentration of Saharan dust is expected. Persons sensitive to changes in air quality should exercise the necessary precautions. The forecast maximum temperature today will be 33°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 32°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
